For Team Joe Barr the race is home.
Joe has long believed that if you can master the roads in Ireland you can race anywhere in the world and Joe has raced in many ‘far away’ places.
The Team Joe Barr 200, The TJB Coastal 330 and The Joe Barr 500 have grown out of our desire to showcase the incredible terrain that Ireland has to offer the endurance cyclist.
Our goal is to give every one who races with us a world-class endurance experience.
From the minute you register we’re here to answer your questions as quickly and as completely as possible.
As soon as you walk through the door at sign-on we’re there to welcome you and we’ll be there at the finish line too to capture your achievement and share it with you.
We have three distances to choose from.
- If you want to explore what lies beyond Sportive riding then the 200-mile course is for you.
- If you’re ready to race through the day plus tackle the challenges that the night time hours bring then The TJB Coastal 330 may be the perfect distance.
- If you’re ready for a tougher, longer distance or if you want to participate in the World Ultra-Cycling Association 500-mile World Championship series then The Joe Barr 500, sponsored by Spiegel Bikes, the official bike sponsor of Race Across America, is for you. The Joe Barr 500 is a Race Across America qualifier. Race Across America is the most prestigious endurance cycling race in the world with an unparalleled history of epic performances.
Joe and team have personally designed these courses to take you off familiar routes and onto the wild and lonely roads that fuel our passion for endurance cycling.
Consider these races a personal invitation from us to come and experience the unique terrain and landscape that only Irish roads can bring the endurance cyclist.
Joe and team look forward to meeting you all.
What the Riders say...
I just want to say thanks to you, Joe and the team for a great event. The entire event was very professional and every member of the team was courteous and appreciative. It was great to see so many of the team out on the course. There was a great buzz from Friday evening right through until Saturday night.
I really enjoyed the event and was delighted with how everything went; especially given the weather conditions. I will definitely be back next year.....which race will be the question :)
The World Ultra-Cycling Association (WUCA) has accredited these races.
